VOLKAN 8T

The Volkan 8T tractor trailer is a single-axle trailer with the highest capacity in the entire Volkan range, 8,000 kg, designed for the most demanding transport tasks on larger farms. The box is 380 cm long and 230 cm wide, the largest in the range, with the option of fitting additional sides to increase the load area's volume. Unloading is by 3-way tipping — to the rear and to both sides. The braking system is hydraulic or air (pneumatic), necessarily robust given the greatest full-trailer weight in the range. A distinctive feature of this model is the ability to open the sides from both the top and the bottom, easing both manual loading/unloading and draining bulk cargo without needing to fully tip the trailer. A dedicated grain opening is located on the rear side, intended for controlled unloading of grain and other bulk agricultural products directly from the trailer. The trailer is fitted with a complete set of road-signal lighting equipment, as well as a mechanical support leg. The manufacturer is Volkan. The combination of the grain opening and the bottom-opening sides allows controlled, gradual unloading of bulk cargo without needing to fully tip the trailer, particularly useful when filling a silo or smaller transport vehicles where a sudden discharge of the whole load would be impractical.
