VOLKAN 2T

The Volkan 2T tractor trailer is a single-axle trailer, the lowest-capacity model in the Volkan range, designed for smaller farms and lighter transport tasks. Load capacity is 2,000 kg. The box is 250 cm long and 170 cm wide, with a side height of 60 cm, made up of a 35 cm base side plus an additional 25 cm side that can be removed as needed for loading bulkier cargo. Unloading is by tipping to the rear only, unlike the larger models in the range that offer 3-way tipping. The sides can also be opened from the top, easing manual loading and unloading without needing to tip the whole trailer. The trailer is fitted with a complete set of road-signal lighting equipment, required for safe transport on public roads. It's available with tyres sized 10/80-12 or 10/75-15.3, depending on configuration. The braking system is mechanical or hydraulic, depending on the option chosen. A support leg eases hitching and unhitching the trailer from the tractor without additional help. The manufacturer is FLM Volkan. Thanks to its compact dimensions and basic but functional equipment, the Volkan 2T is an economical solution for smaller farms that don't need high capacity or advanced features like side tipping, available on the larger models in the same range. The choice between mechanical and hydraulic brakes allows the trailer to be matched to a tractor already owned, without needing extra investment in a hydraulic system if the tractor doesn't already have one. The removable additional side further extends the range of cargo that can be carried, from fine bulk material to bulkier items that are easier to load without a tall rail.
