VOLKAN 5T

The Volkan 5T tractor trailer is a single-axle trailer with a 5,000 kg capacity, designed for medium and larger farms. The box is 330 cm long, 200 cm wide and 90 cm tall, with sides totalling 50 cm plus an additional 40 cm, providing a larger usable load volume than the smaller models in the range. Unloading is by 3-way tipping — to the rear and to both sides — via a hydraulic cylinder with 4 sections, providing sufficient stroke to fully lift a loaded box. The braking system is hydraulic or air (pneumatic), depending on configuration, matched to the greater weight of a full trailer. The trailer is fitted with a complete set of lighting equipment, required for safe transport on public roads, as well as a support leg for easy hitching and unhitching from the tractor. Tyres are sized 11.5/80×15.3, larger than the tyres on the smaller 2- and 4-tonne models, in line with the greater capacity. Compared to the 4-tonne model, the Volkan 5T offers greater capacity and a larger load area, while retaining 3-way tipping, and is somewhat smaller and lighter than the largest models in the range (6 and 8 tonnes), making it a balanced choice for farms needing solid capacity without investing in the largest, most expensive models in the Volkan line. The 4-section cylinder provides sufficient lifting stroke even for the tallest stacked load, while the choice between hydraulic and air braking systems allows the trailer to be matched to the braking installation of a tractor the user already owns.
