VOLKAN 4T

The Volkan 4T tractor trailer is a single-axle trailer with a 4-tonne capacity, the mid-range model in the Volkan range. Unlike the smaller 2-tonne model, which tips to the rear only, the Volkan 4T offers 3-way tipping, considerably easing unloading depending on available space and the direction needed. Overall trailer dimensions are 4,260 mm long, 2,000 mm wide and 1,710 mm tall. The box is sized 300×200×70 cm, where the 70 cm height is made up of a 40 cm base side plus an additional 30 cm side that can be removed or added as needed to suit the cargo type. The braking system is hydraulic or pneumatic, depending on configuration, ensuring reliable deceleration of a full trailer. Tyres are sized 10.0/75-15.3. The trailer is fitted with a complete set of road-signal lighting equipment and a support leg for easy hitching and unhitching. Country of origin is Turkey. Compared to the smaller 2-tonne model, the Volkan 4T offers double the capacity and the more advanced 3-way tipping function, making it a more versatile solution for medium farms with more varied transport needs, while remaining more compact and accessible than the larger 5-, 6- and 8-tonne models in the same range. The ability to tip in three directions, rather than just rearward, considerably eases unloading in tight spaces where positioning the trailer at an angle for rear tipping isn't always practical, making this trailer better suited to smaller fields with limited access roads. The hydraulic/pneumatic braking option lets the buyer match the trailer's braking installation to whatever their tractor already provides, avoiding a mismatch between towing vehicle and trailer at purchase time.
