URT HF 222

The Del Morino URT HF 222 is a rotary tiller, made in Italy, the largest model in the URT HF line. The rotor is driven by a chain running in an oil bath, with an automatic tensioner that maintains constant chain tension and extends its working life. Working width is 222 cm (96”), while the overall machine width is 240 cm (96”) — the largest dimensions across the entire URT HF line. The rotor is fitted with 48 blades, the most in the line, arranged 4 per flange, with the option to upgrade to 6 blades per flange for more intensive tilling. Maximum working depth is 19 cm (8”), the same as the other models in the line. The attachment frame is category 2, and the machine mounts to the tractor via a 3-point hitch, with the PTO shaft turning at 540 rpm. Adjustable depth skids allow precise, repeatable depth adjustment across the whole plot. Operation requires a tractor of 30 to 70 HP, the same range as all models in the line, though for work with the widest span in the range, a tractor toward the upper end of that range is recommended to maintain efficient working speed and tilling quality across the full rotor width. As the largest model in the URT HF line, this tiller is intended for larger farms needing to cover a significant area of land in as few tractor passes as possible. The oil-bath chain drive ensures long-lasting durability under daily use, while adjustable depth skids ease maintaining an even working depth across the whole plot, even on slightly uneven terrain. The option to upgrade to 6 blades per flange gives extra flexibility for tilling harder or denser soil types.
