URT HF 186

The Del Morino URT HF 186 is a rotary tiller, made in Italy, the second-smallest model in the URT HF line. The rotor is driven by a chain running in an oil bath, with an automatic tensioner that maintains constant chain tension and extends its working life. Working width is 186 cm (71”), while the overall machine width is 200 cm (80”). The rotor is fitted with 40 blades, arranged 4 per flange, with the option to upgrade to 6 blades per flange for more intensive tilling. Maximum working depth is 19 cm (8”), the same as the other models in the line. The attachment frame is category 2, and the machine mounts to the tractor via a 3-point hitch, with the PTO shaft turning at 540 rpm. Adjustable depth skids allow precise, repeatable depth adjustment across the whole plot. Operation requires a tractor of 30 to 70 HP, the same range as all models in the URT HF line, meaning working width primarily determines working output per pass rather than the minimum power requirement. The greater working width compared to the 168 model allows a larger area of soil to be prepared faster with the same number of tractor passes, making the URT HF 186 a practical choice for medium-sized fields. The oil-bath chain drive provides greater durability than a dry chain drive, while adjustable depth skids ease maintaining an even working depth even on uneven terrain. The optional upgrade to 6 blades per flange further extends the machine's capability for more demanding, denser soil types where the standard 4-blade configuration might not be enough.
