URT ED 132

The Del Morino URT ED 132 is a side-shift rotary tiller, made in Italy, the mid-range model in the URT ED line. The ability to shift the working head sideways allows tilling along plot edges without the tractor's wheels needing to cross worked ground. The rotor is driven by a chain running in an oil bath. Working width is 132 cm (52”), while the overall machine width is 145 cm (58”). The rotor is fitted with 28 blades, arranged 4 per flange, with the option to upgrade to 6 blades per flange. Maximum working depth is 18 cm (7”). Machine weight is approximately 230 kg. The attachment frame covers both category 1 and category 2. Operation requires a tractor of 20 to 50 HP, the same range as all models in the line. Interestingly, a model of the same working width (132 cm) also exists in the standard Flipper mulcher line, but with a completely different purpose — the mulcher chops above-ground vegetation, while the URT ED 132 tiller only works and crumbles the soil itself. As the mid-range model in the URT ED line, this tiller offers a balanced ratio of working width, weight and tractor-power requirement, suited to a wide range of smaller and medium agricultural areas. The option to upgrade to 6 blades per flange further extends the range of soil the machine can efficiently work, while the oil-bath chain drive ensures greater durability than a dry chain drive. The 18 cm maximum working depth remains consistent across the whole line, so soil-preparation quality doesn't change with the working width chosen.
