Grillo MR

The Grillo MR is a compact, lightweight tiller intended for cultivating smaller areas - gardens, vegetable plots and garden allotments - where maneuverability is the priority. It is offered with two engine options, both 196 cc with a single cylinder, recoil start and dry air filter: a generic G200 FA and a Honda GX200, both rated at 5.5 HP (4.1 kW). Tank capacity is 3.1 liters for the G200 FA engine, or 3 liters for the Honda GX200 engine. Drive runs through gears in an oil bath, with a single-speed gearbox, while the clutch is controlled by a handlebar lever acting on a tensioner pulley. The rotary tiller has 6 blades with tines and a working width of 83 cm, adjustable to 83 or 59 cm with side discs, or to 30, 52 or 77 cm without side discs, allowing fine adjustment of working width to the space being worked. Working depth is 32 cm, and tine diameter is 32 cm. The tiller runs at three speeds (53, 123 and 162 rpm) plus reverse at 53 rpm. The tiller casing is bolted, made of a steel housing with nuts and bolts, for easier servicing. The handlebar is height- and side-adjustable. Standard equipment includes a transport wheel and a twin spur - one for hard ground and the other for loose soil, allowing adaptation to different soil types without additional accessory purchases. Machine weight is 62 kg with the Honda GX200 engine, or 64 kg with the G200 FA engine - a difference of only 2 kg makes the engine choice primarily a matter of service and spare-parts availability rather than a physical difference in handling. Compact dimensions, low weight and flexibly adjustable working width make the Grillo MR a practical solution for occasional cultivation of smaller plots, where larger, heavier motocultivators like the G131 aren't justified.
