Grillo GF3 DF

The Grillo GF3 DF is a sickle-bar mower intended for cutting grass and light vegetation on agricultural, orchard and vineyard land, fitted with a TIROL central cutter bar with an active crank, 115 cm wide (code 9L7811/998211). The machine is offered with three engine options: Loncin G300 FA with recoil start (302 cc, 9.3 HP), Honda GX270 OHV with recoil start and a replaceable-cartridge air filter (270 cc, 8.4 HP), and a Norwik SH178FA diesel engine with recoil start (306 cc, 5.3 HP) - the diesel variant is aimed at users for whom fuel economy matters more during longer, more intensive work. Tank capacity is 6.1 liters for the Loncin G300 FA engine, 5.3 liters for the Honda GX270 OHV, or 3.5 liters for the Norwik SH178FA diesel. Drive runs through gears in a small oil bath, fitted with a differential lock, while the gearbox offers 3 forward speeds and 3 reverse, with a cone-type active clutch. The P.T.O. runs at 965 rpm counter-clockwise. The differential lock is engaged by a lever, easing turning and maneuvering on uneven terrain - this is the key difference from the base GF3 model, which lacks this function. Three sizes of pneumatic tractor tires are available: 4.00-8 with fixed discs, 4.00-10 and 5.00-10 with adjustable discs, as well as pneumatic grass tires 20x10.00-8, suited to working on grassed areas without damaging the turf. The handlebar is height- and side-adjustable, mounted on anti-vibration blocks for more comfortable operation during longer mowing sessions. Brakes are drum-type, and the safety system includes an active cone clutch compliant with regulations, which automatically cuts drive when the operator releases the handle. Machine weight is 112 kg, slightly more than the base GF3 model (105 kg), a consequence of the added differential lock. The combination of flexible engine choice and a differential lock makes the Grillo GF3 DF a reliable choice for work on sloped or uneven terrain where controlled turning matters most.
