GINGER 96

The Del Morino Ginger 96 is a compact mulcher, made in Italy, the second-smallest model in the Ginger line. The gearbox is made of aluminium, contributing to the machine's low overall weight. Power is transmitted via a two-belt transmission with an automatic tensioner. Working width is 96 cm (38”), while the overall machine width is 107 cm (43”). The rotor is fitted with 32 Y-blades or 16 flails, depending on the configuration chosen, able to chop branches up to 2.5 cm in diameter. The gearbox runs at 540 rpm. The attachment frame is category 1, and the machine mounts to the tractor via a 3-point hitch. The rear roller is height-adjustable across three positions, allowing precise control of mowing height. Machine weight is 130 kg, somewhat more than the 80 model (115 kg), in line with the wider working surface and the same blade count as the somewhat larger 106 model. Required tractor power remains in the same 12 to 30 HP range as all models in the line. Its compact weight and modest tractor-power requirement make the Ginger 96 a suitable choice for smaller fields, orchards and garden areas where the larger mulchers from the Flipper range wouldn't be practical or economical. The three-position rear roller allows mowing height to be precisely tailored, while the category 1 attachment frame (with no category 2 option, available on the Flipper lines) confirms this series' focus exclusively on smaller, lighter tractors that don't need the heavier-duty hitch classes used by larger equipment.
