FLIPPER SUPER 132

The Del Morino Flipper Super 132 is an offset mulcher, made in Italy, whose construction allows the working head to shift sideways relative to the tractor, easing mowing along the edges of roads, ditches and fences without the tractor needing to drive over the terrain being worked. Working width is 132 cm (52”), while the overall machine width (including the offset mechanism) is 158 cm (62”). Power is transmitted via a three-belt transmission with an automatic tensioner, which absorbs shock loads and extends belt life. The rotor is fitted with 40 Y-blades or 20 flails, depending on the configuration chosen, able to chop branches up to 5 cm in diameter. The gearbox is made of cast iron, runs at 540 rpm, and is fitted with a freewheel device that protects the drive system from kickback if the rotor suddenly stops. A blade counter eases monitoring and maintenance of the rotor during servicing. The machine mounts to the tractor via a 3-point hitch, categories 1 and 2, allowing use on a wide range of tractors. An additional roller, 160 mm in diameter, contributes to even terrain-following and controls mowing height. Machine weight is 470 kg, and required tractor power ranges from 50 to 80 HP. Thanks to its compact dimensions compared to the larger models in the same line (158 and 186), the Flipper Super 132 is an accessible entry point into the offset-mulcher range, suited to smaller tractors within the stated power range. The sideways-offset working head is particularly useful on plots with uneven or hard-to-reach edges, where a conventional, fixed-centre mulcher couldn't effectively work the edge without the tractor's wheels dropping into a roadside ditch or drain.
