FLIPPER 132

The Del Morino Flipper 132 is a mulcher, made in Italy, the mid-range model in the standard Flipper line. It's fixed-centred relative to the tractor, unlike the offset Flipper Super line. Working width is 132 cm (50”), while the overall machine width is 155 cm (62”). Power is transmitted via a three-belt transmission with an automatic tensioner. The rotor is fitted with 40 Y-blades or 20 flails, depending on the configuration chosen, able to chop branches up to 5 cm in diameter. The gearbox is made of cast iron, runs at 540 rpm, is fitted with a freewheel device and a through-shaft allowing further drive transfer to a potential additional attachment. The rear roller is height-adjustable, allowing precise control of mowing height. The machine mounts to the tractor via a 3-point hitch, categories 1 and 2. Machine weight is 255 kg. Required tractor power remains in the same wide 15 to 70 HP range as all models in the line. Interestingly, a model of the same working width (132 cm) also exists in the offset Flipper Super line, where it has greater weight (470 kg vs. 255 kg) and a narrower required-power range (50-80 HP), reflecting the extra construction needed for the sideways-offset mechanism the standard Flipper 132 doesn't have. For users who don't need the sideways offset, the standard Flipper 132 is a lighter, cheaper solution with the identical working width and similar branch-chopping capacity. The rear roller's height adjustment further allows mowing height to be tailored to the plot's needs, while the gearbox's through-shaft allows a potential additional attachment behind the mulcher to be driven as well.
