Vertical feed mixer 2 m³

The Celmak vertical mixer trailer with a 2 m³ capacity is the smallest model in the range of vertical mixers for preparing and blending livestock feed, designed for smaller livestock farms. The machine uses a vertical auger that blends the various ration components — roughage, concentrate feed and additives — into a homogeneous mix, while simultaneously chopping larger pieces via built-in blades. Overall machine dimensions are 2,150 mm long, 1,350 mm wide and 1,750 mm tall, while the mixing tub itself measures 1,700 × 1,200 × 1,100 mm (length × width × height). The auger turns at 52.25 rpm, ensuring thorough, even mixing of the contents. Chopping is handled by 3 spiral blades combined with 2 fixed blades, sufficient for processing typical ration components on smaller farms. Empty machine weight is 685 kg, the lightest in the three-model range. Operation requires a 45 HP tractor, the lowest requirement across the whole mixer range. Compared to the larger 3 m³ and 5 m³ models, the 2 m³ model has a considerably more compact footprint and lower weight, making it suited to smaller tractors and smaller livestock farms with a modest head count that don't need a large daily portion of prepared feed. Its compact construction also eases maneuvering the trailer in tighter spaces around the barn, where larger models could be impractical. The vertical mixing principle, unlike horizontal mixers, handles long roughage fibres such as hay and straw more gently, preserving their structural value in the ration, while also requiring less energy per unit volume of mixed content than horizontal designs serving the same purpose.
