SPHGA180H

The Yurdusar SPHGA180H is a tractor mulcher from the same hydraulic SPHGA series as the smaller SPHGA160H model, with a somewhat wider working width of 180 cm (versus 160 cm), intended for shredding plant residue - cereal, corn and cotton stalks, as well as pruned branches in orchards. As with the smaller model, the shredded material is returned to the soil as organic matter, reducing the need for mineral fertilizer. Drive is transmitted via the tractor's PTO shaft, and the machine attaches via a standard three-point hitch. Overall machine width is 1350 mm, the same as the smaller model, and overall height is 1300 mm. The rotor retains the same number of hammers as the SPHGA160H - 16 units - distributed across a somewhat wider rotor to cover the greater working width. Skids and a rear roller protect the machine from damage and ensure stable operation even on uneven terrain, while the hydraulic system allows sideways shifting and adjustment of the working position directly from the tractor cab, useful when working in orchard rows. Machine weight is 625 kg, marginally more than the smaller model (610 kg), and operation requires a tractor of 40 to 50 HP, a somewhat higher range than the SPHGA160H (35-45 HP), in line with the wider working width. This model represents a slightly expanded version of the base model in the SPHGA series, suited to users needing a somewhat wider width without a significant increase in machine mass or required tractor power. As with every model in the SPHGA series, the mulcher features robust construction adapted to the demanding conditions of orchard work, where the hammers and rotor are regularly exposed to impacts with woody debris, stumps and stones, making the durability of working elements key to a long service life without frequent downtime for repairs.
