SIPMA PS 1225 FORTIS

The Sipma PS 1225 Fortis is a fixed-chamber round baler that meets the expectations of even the most demanding buyers. The innovative roller-chain chamber construction further increases bale compression, improving haylage quality and work efficiency, while the mechanical chamber lock allows a higher pressing degree. The rotor ensures fast, efficient material flow into the pressing chamber, and the 2.05 m-wide pickup ensures proper lifting of a wide swath even on sharp turns, with side augers ensuring material flow into the rotor unit's channel. The optional cutter has 11 chopping knives, with a pre-set cutting length of 90 mm — chopping the collected material makes bales 20% heavier than uncut rolled bales, improving material handling. Electronic control monitors correct machine operation: it displays sensor status, the number of bales made, working time and efficiency, controls even material distribution in the chamber and the compression degree, and triggers the automatic work cycle. Automatic chain lubrication shortens service time, and a wide-angle joint shaft with an automatic clutch allows work on turns while protecting against overload damage. Net binding protects the bale from loosening and shortens wrapping time, while the pressing roller helps maintain an even intake flow of material. Collection width is 2,050 mm, and the chamber has 7 baling rollers, sized 1,200×1,200 mm. Operation requires a tractor of 55 kW (75 HP) without chopping, or 70 kW (95 HP) with the cutter, via the PTO shaft at 540 rpm. Machine dimensions are 4,100×2,400×2,300 mm, and weight is 2,630 kg. Available as optional equipment is a connecting device for the Sipma OS 7531 Maja or OS 7650 Gaja bale wrappers, allowing a foil-wrapped bale in a single pass.
