SIPMA PS 1221 FARMA PLUS

The Sipma PS 1221 Farma Plus is a round baler, a well-equipped machine designed for demanding buyers — particularly farmers wanting high-quality haylage from hay, but also for hay and straw harvest. The innovative chain-type baling chamber further increases the bale compression ratio compared to the base PS 1211 Farma Plus model, improving haylage quality and work efficiency, while the mechanical chamber lock allows a higher pressing degree regardless of conditions or the compression degree needed. Laminate covers protect the machine's moving elements, giving it a dynamic, modern look. Electronic control monitors correct machine operation: it visualizes the operation currently being performed, monitors the bale-formation process, diagnoses sensors and electrical couplings, and counts wrapped bales and working time. Automatic chain lubrication reduces service time and extends the working life of drive components. Collection width is 2,000 mm, and the chamber has 5 baling rollers, sized 1,200×1,200 mm. Operation requires a tractor of 50 kW (69 HP), via the PTO shaft at 540 rpm. Machine dimensions are 3,300×2,400×2,100 mm, and weight is 2,150 kg. Standard equipment includes the PTO shaft, net-and-twine binding device, electronic control, automatic chain lubrication, central bearing lubrication, tyres 400/60-15.5 (wide tyres) and a swivel hook 50 mm in diameter, while a connecting device for a bale wrapper is available as optional equipment. Compared to the PS 1225 Fortis model, the PS 1221 Farma Plus has a narrower collection width and fewer rollers (5 vs. 7), but requires a considerably less powerful tractor.
