SIPMA PK 4010 KOSTKA

The Sipma PK 4010 Kostka is a square baler, an excellent machine for collecting straw, and equally efficient at collecting hay. Optimal construction, excellent working parameters, as well as high durability and reliability, are the reasons SIPMA S.A. has manufactured these machines for over 30 years, with continuous improvement — nearly 100,000 machines have been sold to farmers to date. The pressing chamber's construction allows the pressing force to be adjusted up to 180 kg/m³, bale length adjusted from 0.3 to 1.3 m, and the bale ejection angle adjusted. The balanced crank-and-piston system improves working conditions for the operator by eliminating the harmful effect of vibrations transferred to the tractor. The hydraulic pickup-lifting system increases safety and working comfort, while the double knotting device quickly and precisely ties the formed bales. The machine is fitted with a range of protective devices for long-lasting, safe operation: a one-way friction clutch on the flywheel (900 Nm) protects the drive shaft, behind the flywheel sits the main automatic clutch with six disc springs protecting the whole machine, safety bolts protect the needles and knotting apparatus, and the winder and pickup are fitted with overload clutches. The electrical installation allows the machine to travel on public roads at no extra cost. Collection width is 1,780 mm, the channel is 460×400 mm, and operation requires a tractor of 28.5 kW (38 HP) via the PTO shaft at 540 rpm. Machine dimensions are 4,900×2,500×1,600 mm, and weight is 1,560 kg. Available as optional equipment are a bale slide (eases transport onto trailers and increases the compression degree), an electronic bale counter, a hydraulically adjustable drawbar, a knotter-apparatus fan, and a pickup copying wheel with a pneumatic tyre for better terrain-following on wet surfaces.
