SIPMA OS 7520 MIRA

The Sipma OS 7520 Mira is a bale wrapper, the economical version of the Mira series with mechanical control, designed for farms needing reliable bale wrapping without advanced electronic functions. It handles bales 1,200 to 1,500 mm in diameter and up to 1,250 mm wide, with a maximum bale weight of 1,000 kg — a somewhat wider bale-diameter range than the Klara model. The wrapping drive is hydraulic, requiring an oil flow of 20 to 90 litres per minute. One bale is wrapped in 60 seconds, twice as fast as the Klara model (120 seconds), thanks to a hydraulic rather than mechanical drive for the turntable. Operation requires a tractor of 35 kW (48 HP). Standard equipment includes a bale lifter, a universal film dispenser for 500 or 750 mm width, a hydraulic film cutter, signalling, and tyres sized 400x60-15.5 (wide tyres). Machine dimensions in the working position are 4,600×4,100×2,300 mm, while in the transport position it narrows to 4,600×2,400×2,800 mm, easing transport on public roads. Machine weight is 1,540 kg, considerably more than the Klara model (780 kg), in line with the more robust construction and hydraulic wrapping drive. The faster wrapping cycle and wider bale-diameter range make the Mira a better-suited choice for farms with a higher volume of baling, where the processing speed of each bale directly affects overall efficiency for the season. Although mechanically controlled, without the electronic control found on more advanced round balers in the Sipma range, the simpler construction eases field maintenance and servicing, which can be an advantage for farms without easy access to specialized service.
