Krpan 4 T CLASSIC

The Krpan 4 T CLASSIC winch is defined by robust, proven construction, carefully selected materials and high operational safety, with every unit undergoing 100% effective final inspection before delivery. Pulling force is 40 kN, or 4 tonnes, identical to the 4SI model, but in a lighter, simpler (Classic) build. Braking force is 50 kN, ensuring safe operation and load control when descending a slope. The winch ships with a 50 m steel cable, 9 mm in diameter, shorter than the 4SI model's cable, in line with the simpler, lighter build intended for work at shorter distances. Operation requires a tractor of 22 to 33 kW, or 30 to 45 HP, the same as the 4SI model. Winch dimensions are: width 1,200 mm, depth 450 mm, height with protective mesh 2,100 mm, and without protective mesh just 1,150 mm — the smallest in the range. Weight without steel cable is just 173 kg, considerably less than the 4SI model of the same pulling force, thanks to the simplified Classic construction without additional elements. The winch mounts to the tractor in hitch category Cat 1. Thanks to its low weight and simple yet robust construction, the Krpan 4 T CLASSIC is an economical entry-level choice for private users and smaller farms that need the basic log-hauling function, without the extra features of the higher-class professional models. Compared to the 4SI model of the same pulling and braking force, the Classic build is lighter by almost a third and has smaller dimensions, at the cost of a shorter cable and simpler construction, making it a practical choice when ease of handling and mounting takes priority over the winch's reach.
