CV 14 K pro

The Krpan CV 14 K pro is a PTO-driven wood splitter from the vertical CV series, powered via the tractor's power take-off shaft. Splitting force is 13 t, with automatic switching between two splitting speeds depending on the wood's resistance, which speeds up work on thinner logs while retaining full force on thicker ones. Cylinder stroke is 970 mm, and splitting height is adjustable to 550 or 1,100 mm depending on log length. Splitting speed is expressed as (H2-H1)-R*(s/1000mm) and equals (3.3-5.9)-2.6, where H2-H1 is the working-stroke time and R is the cylinder's return-stroke time per meter of stroke. Operation requires a tractor of at least 21 kW (29 HP), making this model accessible even for smaller farm tractors. Unit dimensions (width×length×height×transport height) are 805×1160×2840×(1850) mm, and weight is 385 kg — the lightest and most compact model in the CV K pro line. The pump is cast iron and fitted as standard, ensuring long-lasting durability of the hydraulic system. Available as optional equipment are an extension table and an auxiliary table for short wood, which make it easier to work with varying log lengths, as well as a 750 kg-capacity winch for pulling logs to the splitting point. Its compact dimensions and relatively low required tractor power make the CV 14 K pro a suitable choice for smaller households and less demanding firewood-preparation tasks, while its robust construction and automatic speed switching deliver a professional level of efficiency even in this entry class of the CV series. Compared to the stronger models in the same line, the CV 18 and CV 26 K pro, this model shares the same external width and length but with lower splitting force and lower weight, making it the most accessible entry point into the vertical CV series.
