CV 18 K pro

The Krpan CV 18 K pro is a PTO-driven wood splitter from the vertical CV series, powered via the tractor's power take-off shaft, positioned as the mid-range model in the K pro line, between the CV 14 and CV 26. Splitting force is 17 t, allowing thicker and harder logs to be split compared to the smaller CV 14 K pro model. Cylinder stroke is 970 mm, and splitting height is adjustable to 550 or 1,100 mm depending on the length of the logs being processed. The hydraulic oil reservoir has a capacity of 35 l, providing sufficient capacity for continuous operation without frequent oil top-ups during longer work sessions. Operation requires a tractor of at least 25 kW (34 HP), somewhat higher than the CV 14 model's requirement, in line with the increased splitting force. Unit dimensions (width×length×height×transport height) are 805×1160×2840×(1850) mm — identical external dimensions to the CV 14 K pro, with a higher weight of 402 kg due to the reinforced hydraulics and construction needed for the greater splitting force. The cast-iron pump is fitted as standard, ensuring long-lasting durability and reliability of the hydraulic system under increased load. Available as optional equipment are an extension table and an auxiliary table for short wood, as well as a 750 kg-capacity winch for pulling logs to the splitting point, identical to the other models in the line. Thanks to its increased splitting force while retaining compact dimensions, the CV 18 K pro represents a versatile choice for moderately demanding firewood-preparation tasks, for households and smaller professional users alike.
