The Celmak GH130 is a haylage harvester, fitted with its own transmission and a complete hydraulic system, designed for harvesting and chopping grass and other crops to prepare haylage directly on the meadow or field. Working width is 1,300 mm, wider than the S-HCH65 silage machine's working width (650 mm), matching its different purpose — harvesting grass in a swath rather than individual rows of maize. Cutting and chopping of the plant material is handled by as many as 21 cutting blades, considerably more than the silage machine, producing fine fragments 6 to 8 cm long, suited to fast, even fermentation in haylage. The machine is driven via the PTO shaft turning at 540 rpm, with a working speed of 8 to 10 km/h, the same as the silage machine. Machine dimensions are 2,150 mm long, 2,600 mm wide and 3,150 mm tall — considerably shorter but wider than the S-HCH65, in line with a different working geometry suited to the wider working width. Working capacity is 15 to 16 tonnes per hour. Machine weight is 620 kg, slightly less than the silage machine. Operation requires a 45 HP tractor, somewhat less demanding than the silage machine (50 HP). Thanks to its own transmission and integrated hydraulics, the GH130 requires no additional external equipment to operate. Its wider working width and greater number of blades compared to the silage machine make this model particularly suited to farms preparing haylage from meadow and pasture grass, while the complementary S-HCH65 model is used for row-crop maize silage. Shorter grass fragments, compared to the maize fragments from the silage machine, allow faster, more even fermentation of the haylage, and the greater number of blades directly contributes to the finer chopping this process requires, while the complete hydraulics and own transmission ease day-to-day operation without relying on additional external tractor equipment.
