CAPAMTAM3

The Yurdusar CAPAMTAM3 is a mounted inter-row cultivator, a larger model from the same series as the CAPAMTAM2, with 3 working units (derived from 48 C-tines, at the standard 16 per unit), intended for hoeing rows of sugar beet, cotton, sunflower, corn, soybean, tomato, beans, tobacco, melon, watermelon, sesame and other row-planted crops. Drive is transmitted via the tractor's PTO shaft to the final drive, while each working unit operates through a system of sprockets and gears connected via a shaft. Working width is 40 to 45 cm per row, the same as the CAPAMTAM2 model, and working depth is 10 to 15 cm. Overall machine height is 240 cm, greater than the CAPAMTAM2 (200 cm), in line with the additional, third working unit. As with the smaller model, the cultivator protects the soil from weeds by breaking up the surface layer, loosens the soil and allows aeration, helping the soil retain moisture for better plant rooting, saving 70 to 80% of labor compared with manual hoeing. Machine weight is 500 kg, more than the CAPAMTAM2 (400 kg), and operation requires a tractor of 40 to 50 HP, a somewhat higher range than the smaller model (35-45 HP), in line with the additional working unit. As with the whole series, a fertilizer spreader or furrow-opening device can optionally be fitted to the machine. The CAPAMTAM3 is a suitable choice for farms cultivating three rows per pass, representing a mid-range solution in the documented CAPAMTAM series between the smallest two-row and the larger four-row and five-row models. As with the whole series, the sprocket-and-gear drive system for each working unit is built to withstand soil working conditions, with regular lubrication and chain-tension checks as the basic maintenance measures.
