CAPAMTAM2

The Yurdusar CAPAMTAM2 is a mounted inter-row cultivator intended for hoeing the rows between plants for crops grown in rows - sugar beet, cotton, sunflower, corn, soybean, tomato, beans, tobacco, melon, watermelon, sesame and similar crops. The machine is driven via the tractor's PTO shaft, transmitted to the final drive, while each working unit operates through a system of sprockets and gears connected via a shaft. Based on the machine's 32 C-tines, and with a standard of 16 tines per working unit in this series, the CAPAMTAM2 is fitted with 2 working units, the fewest in the documented CAPAMTAM series, suited to narrower rows or smaller plots. Working width is 40 to 45 cm per row, and working depth is 10 to 15 cm, enough to loosen the surface soil layer without damaging the root system of neighboring plants. Overall machine height is 200 cm, the smallest in the series, in line with the smallest number of working units. The cultivator simultaneously protects the soil from weeds by breaking up the surface layer, loosens the soil and allows it to aerate, helping the soil retain moisture and prepare for better plant rooting. Using this machine saves 70 to 80% of the labor otherwise needed for manual hoeing of the same area. Machine weight is 400 kg, the lowest in the series, and operation requires a tractor of 35 to 45 HP, making the CAPAMTAM2 accessible even to smaller tractors. Optionally, a fertilizer spreader or a furrow-opening device can be fitted to the machine, extending its use to combined hoeing and fertilizing in a single pass. The CAPAMTAM2 is a suitable choice for smaller farms or narrower plots for which cultivating two rows per pass is sufficient.
