Balerina

The Yurdusar Balerina is a rotary hay rake, one of the most modern machines intended for gathering mown grass into windrows suited to subsequent baling. Unlike older rake types, the rotary working principle allows clean grass mass to be collected, free of unwanted debris such as soil and stones, yielding livestock feed of outstanding quality without the risk of contaminating bales with foreign material that could harm livestock or baling equipment. A further advantage is that no tangling or excessive compaction of the mown grass occurs during operation, easing and speeding up baling, since the windrow forms evenly and loosely, suited to smooth feeding into the baler's chamber. The machine has a working width of 300 to 350 cm, adjustable to working conditions and the desired windrow width. Grass is gathered via 9 raking arms, mounted on a rotating carrier of collecting elements, which through rotation pick up the mown grass and direct it into a single, even windrow. Transport width is 120 cm, narrow enough for safe transport on public roads, while overall height is 250 cm, and working height (the machine's height in the working position) is 140 cm. The machine rests on 2 wheels, ensuring stable movement and even ground contact of the arms during operation, even on slightly uneven meadow surfaces. Hitching is via a standard Category 2 three-point hitch. Drive is transmitted via the tractor's PTO shaft, rotating at 540 revolutions per minute, standard for implements of this type. Machine weight is 360 kg, making it a relatively light, easily handled implement that does not require a particularly powerful tractor.
