AlpStorm 5250

The Lavrih AlpStorm 5250 is the largest and most capable slurry tanker in the AlpStorm range, with an actual tank volume of 5,294 litres (the nominal model designation is rounded to 5250). Unlike the other models in the line, the AlpStorm 5250 comes standard with a GARDA pump and a hydraulic cannon, whereas these components are available as options on the smaller models. The tank is built with robust construction and quality welding, sized 1,350 × 3,450 mm, with a 5 mm wall thickness. Hot-dip galvanizing and zinc passivation are carried out in Austria, at a facility in Bergheim near Salzburg, ensuring long-lasting corrosion protection in contact with slurry. Wheels are 500/50-17” tyres, mounted on a Q80 × 1800 axle, stronger than the axles used on the smaller models in the line (Q70 × 1700), in line with the greatest full-tank weight. Brakes are hydraulic, and slurry transfer is handled by a GARDA 6500 or MEC 5000 pump, depending on configuration. The tank has one compartment. The AlpStorm 5250 offers a robust drawbar construction with hydraulic drawbar lifting, standard on the larger models in the series, side-spreading capability, quick side suction connections, additional lighting for better machine visibility in all conditions, and the option to fit a distributor. The standard-fitted hydraulically controlled cannon allows slurry to be spread from a safe road without driving on the field's slope, a function the smaller models offer only as a paid option. The largest volume in the range makes this model the most productive choice for larger agricultural plots and farms with significant quantities of slurry to transport, requiring a more powerful tractor capable of towing the greatest weight in the AlpStorm line.
