AlpStorm 4050

The Lavrih AlpStorm 4050 is a slurry tanker from the mid-range segment of the AlpStorm line, with an actual tank volume of 3,898 litres (the nominal model designation is rounded to 4050). The tank is built with robust construction and quality welding, sized 1,250 × 2,950 mm, with a 5 mm wall thickness. Hot-dip galvanizing and zinc passivation are carried out in Austria, at a facility in Bergheim near Salzburg, ensuring long-lasting corrosion protection in contact with slurry. Wheels are 15/55-17” tyres, mounted on a Q70 × 1700 axle. Brakes are hydraulic, and slurry transfer is handled by a MEC 4000 pump. The tank has one compartment. Like the other models in the AlpStorm line, the AlpStorm 4050 offers a robust drawbar construction, side-spreading capability, quick side suction connections for fast hose hookup, additional lighting for better machine visibility in all conditions, and the option to fit a distributor. A hydraulically controlled spreading cannon is also available as an option, for spreading slurry from a safe road without driving on the field's slope; hydraulic drawbar lifting is available on the larger models in the line. Compared to the smaller 3250 model, the AlpStorm 4050 offers greater volume and thus greater autonomy per fill, with a somewhat larger weight and tank length (2,950 mm), while compared to the larger 4650 and 5250 models it retains a more compact footprint suited to mid-power tractors. This position makes the AlpStorm 4050 a versatile choice for farms needing more slurry-transport autonomy than the smallest model, without requiring the most powerful tractor or the greatest weight of the largest models in the line. The shared hot-dip galvanized protection and robust, welded tank body construction ensure a long working life regardless of the chosen tanker size.
