The Turan reversible plow, obrtač, from the 11-14 inch line, three-bottom (3+0) design, a larger version of the two-bottom 2+0 model from the same line, intended for farms working larger areas and wanting greater output per pass while retaining the benefits of reversible plowing - working without open furrows or dead furrows. Clearance is adjustable within 70-80 cm, and spacing between bottoms is also 70-80 cm, the same as the 2+0 model. Working width is mechanically adjusted within a wider range of 82.5 to 105 cm, thanks to the third bottom, while working depth is adjustable from 15 to 30 cm, the same as the smaller model. Operation requires a tractor of 50 to 110 HP, a higher range than the 2+0 model (40-90 HP), in line with the additional bottom and wider working width. As with the smaller model, adjustment is easy and simple, with mechanical working-width adjustment, quick switching from working to transport position, and a shear-bolt safety system protecting the bottoms from damage on impact with an obstacle. The bottom-flipping mechanism is hydraulically driven, controlled from the tractor cab, and the option of adding a working bottom later is also available to further extend working width. Accessories include an extension mouldboard plate, a trash board, a replaceable share, a share point and a cutter disc (coulter). The greater number of bottoms and wider working width make this model a more productive choice for medium and larger farms with more powerful tractors, while retaining all the benefits of the reversible plowing system - neat, even soil with no open furrows between tractor passes.
