The Turan reversible plow, also known as an obrtač, from the 11-14 inch line, two-bottom (2+0) design, intended for precision plowing without the open furrows and dead furrows characteristic of standard (non-reversible) plows, since the bottoms flip to the opposite side after each pass. Clearance is adjustable within 70-80 cm, and spacing between bottoms is also 70-80 cm, while working width is mechanically adjusted within a range of 55 to 70 cm, depending on soil type and desired plowing speed. Working depth is adjustable from 15 to 30 cm, covering a wide range from shallow to deeper plowing. Operation requires a tractor of 40 to 90 HP, a wide range reflecting the machine's flexibility across different tractor sizes. Plow adjustment is easy and simple, with mechanical working-width adjustment requiring no additional tools, while switching from working to transport position is quick and requires no complicated maneuvers. The safety system uses a shear bolt, which breaks on impact with a solid obstacle, protecting the bottoms and frame from damage - after impact, simply replacing the bolt is enough to resume work. Various accessories and bottom shapes are available, adapted to different soil types, along with the option of adding a working bottom later to extend working width. The bottom-flipping mechanism is hydraulically driven, controlled directly from the tractor cab, while a reversible wheel helps stabilize the machine during operation. Accessories include an extension mouldboard plate, a trash board, a replaceable share, a share point and a cutter disc (coulter). Thanks to the reversible system, this plow leaves evenly worked soil with no open furrows between passes, suited to plots where a neat, tidy finish matters.
