BASIC 230 KIPP

The Martz BASIC 230 KIPP is a single-axle cargo trailer designed for moving and furniture transport, as well as household and garden use. The chassis is based on a torsion axle from a reputable manufacturer, independent and sprung on a torsion shaft, providing even support and stability while driving. The wheels are sized 155/70 R13. The trailer has a V-shaped, tilting drawbar, which further maintains stability while driving and makes unloading easier. The lower frame is made of bent galvanized steel sheet profiles, bolted together, which allows individual parts to be replaced easily instead of welding the whole structure. The load surface has a floor made of high-quality waterproof, non-slip plywood 9 mm thick, resistant to weather conditions and wear during loading. The sides are made of galvanized steel, 300 mm high, with a rear panel that opens for easier loading and unloading. As optional equipment, raised sides can be fitted for bulkier or larger loads, mesh sides for lighter or loose loads, as well as a flat tarpaulin or a tarpaulin frame for protection from the elements. The maximum permissible mass of the trailer is 750 kg, while the payload is 622 kg, with an empty weight of only 128 kg — a favorable ratio that leaves most of the permissible mass for the cargo itself. The internal dimensions of the load area are 2,305 mm in length and 1,260 mm in width, while the external dimensions are 3,210 mm in length and 1,690 mm in width. The overall height of the trailer is 800 mm. Its compact dimensions and low own weight make it suitable for everyday use behind passenger cars, without needing a more powerful tow vehicle. The combination of galvanized steel components and a bolted rather than welded construction ensures long-lasting corrosion resistance along with easy servicing over the trailer's working life.
